Well, I seem to be seeing more and more computers that have DVD burners. However, I haven't been able to find any standalone DVD burner drives. Could someone please tell me a little bit more about how DVD burners work, ie, are they rewritable, can they be played in regular dvd players, etc.? I'd appreciate any help.
 
I'm going to get one of these DVD burners whenever they hit $350. Probably be another year, maybe year and a half. They were $17,000 two years ago so prices are definately falling 🙂.
