DVD Burner won't work?

I tested the drive in a differant system and it worked great. It reads files on this system, but it won't write. Any Ideas?
I tried -R and +R.
I updated all of my drivers.
I uninsstalled the drive and reinstalled in device mgr.
???

Try these:

Changing the IDE cable
Trying a different IDE channel
Check the jumpers
Ensure DMA is enabled

Assume the DVD writeware was the same in both systems?
