Dvd Burner which one?

Anyone have any suggestions ? What's the difference b/w Dvd+r and -r ? (Is it just media or is there actually a spd difference?

I'm looking @ spending like $60 or so.

mainly just a media and compatibility issue with dvd players and such. There are combo drives around that would burn both easily as well as the new dual layer burners are out. check out anand's review from a month or so ago.

the NEC 3500 is a dual format cdr/dvd burner
about $70 shipped at newegg, did very well in the DVD burner round up last month.

$66 shipped bought it after reading the ratings on the burner.
