DVD burner question

hey everyone i'm wondering will i have a problem if i turn off computer A and take out a dvd burner put it in computer B while its turned off install it, then use it and when i'm done put it back in to computer A. Will i encounter any problems with the cables or drivers (computer B i used to have the drive in there a few months ago but moved it) Sorry if this seems like a dumb question just want to make sure i don't forget anything cause computer B is like 400 miles + away thanks!

no problem

just make sure that its going from master -> master or slave -> slave, or if not, adjust the jumpers accordinglly
