Wanting to get some user feedback and maybe a link or two on a good DVD-RW drive. I understand that RW will be the best for video, is that correct ?

I was only able to find one review on DVD burners and I didnt see anything here on AT.

Looking for something in a mid price range.

Thanks

The DVD-r will be the best for video if you want it to work in DVD players hooked up to TV.... I have a Pioneer 105/a05, It works great for me.

Sony dru-500ax, does both formats, and works better than the Pioneer. about $350

Not true!!!

I burn all my stuff on dvd-rw disk I get from meritline.com and it has worked in every DVD player I have tried 2 years old or newer......DVD-rw is nice since I use it to back up \my sons disney and pixar movies and when he gets tired of one I erase it and copy a new on it.....

I like the Pioneer dvr-104 or dvr-105 model and don't be afraid of Cendyne since it is mainly rebadged pioneer drives that I mentioned....
