DVD Burner ____INVALID BLOCK ADDRESS

Hi ,

I am using a SONY DVD Burner DRU-710A (Dual Layer). with NERO 6, Win XP Pro, Moser Bayer media.

Burning is successful to abt 90%-95%----then throws up an error " INVALID Block Address"...

Can come one tell me what do I do to take care of this.....Is it a Hardware problem (SONY DVD writer) of the Software (NERO) or Moser bayer disc.

thx
aj

I have read somewhere that Nero (some versions) does not get along well with XP, but I believe that Nero has an update that corrects the problem.

Use better media first. Usually that error indicates an inability of the drive to track the pre-groove (and address data) on the disc, I think. (similar to "track following error".) What size discs are you using, and how much are you trying to write to them? Are you overburning?
