DVD Audio ripper alternative?

dvd audio ripper is pretty much what I'm looking for... but is there a freeware alternative? I can't seem to find any guides specifically for this that might use existing freeware tools.

at least, I think it does what I want. Want to extract dvd audio from a movie (live concerts in this case) to mp3... and have it automatically break up the files by chapter (most of these concerts have chapter per song). And to use lame as the encoder... yes I know I can do all this manually, but looking for at least some partial automation
