DVD Audio goes up and down.Help so i qiut worrying..

have an old Magnavox DVD player and a brand new Vizio 26AL10T HDTV..what i notice is the volume will go up and down while watching a movie on DVD...if i reverse picture the rise and volume drop off will be on the same spots on the dvd..its an old cheapo DVD player with just AV outputs...RCA plugs and thats it...would an up converting or blue ray player help this problem..I pray it ain't the tv..live shows are fine .some DVR recordings dropped off in volume but the cable company re set my DVR and that seemed to fix the problem on new recordings so far..I'd hate to take the HDTV back so I hope a better DVD player would help..the only audio settings i could find in the player are bit stream or pcm i believe

if a player would cure the problem would a bluyray or a up converting be best since mt HDTV is only a 26 inch?
 
i read something about this in a vizio tv review, it was related so srs dynamic audio or something

check your tv audio settings
