DVD and DMA in Windows 2000 ?

I Just finished migrating to win 2000 and have a ?. Do I need to set my DVD drive for DMA operation or does the o/s do it for ya. And if so where do I change it at?

You do it for each IDE channel in device manager. Under IDE/atapi controllers is the primary and secondary channels.. Right click and choose proprties then advanced. Set to DMA if available. If a drive is stuck in PIO then look at you bios settings.
