DVD and cd drive problem

HI guys,
I have a big problem. My computer cannot detect my dvd nor cd drive.
I have samsung dvd drive and liteon cd drive. When i open my computer it does not show cd nor dvd icon! Its not the power supply as i can open the drive by pressing the open button. What should i do? PLEASE HELP
