what type of dvd player is able to play dvd-8 -9 ?? or is every dvd player able to do this??

WTH is a DVD-8? DVD-9 is just dual layer. Some very cheap/old players mess up on the layer change, exacerbated by cheap media. DVD-10 is dual sided, each side is no different from a normal DVD-5. The other thread is apparently about pirated movies, no reason for pirates to produce quality goods, so the media and authoring are probably very poor.
