DV9207 A/V Problems

Hey People,
I bought the DV9207 with vista premium thinking it was a great deal for the price. I am finding out they rushed from XP to Vista premium on this model without testing all configurations. If you try to use the HDMI out you will fing 2 really big problems. 1st, there will be absolutly no audio out through HDMI, no matter what you try. Kinda negates HDMI/DVI difference there. There are no drivers for it on the pre-loaded vista premium package at all, and none that you can download that will work. HP support will even tell you you will not be able to get audio through it. 2nd problem. When you do use HDMI out to connect to HDTV then the borders are cropped and toolbars and start menu are totally cut off. In the XP version of the DV9207 they had, what I understand to be, full use of the NVIDIA geforce go 7600 control panel, where you could use an underscanning feature to resolve this. This is totally absent from the DV9207 vista premium version. The media center inside vista premium can compensate for this only for the media center view, not for the desktop. Any of you reading this actually try this setup and find a way to resolve these issues please reply.
Thanks
