DV bridge : Need programmed recording

It's been awhile since I asked, couple years actually.

I have an Canopus ADVC-100 DV bridge. Love it, except I can't schedule recordings. So far I've been unable to find any video recording program which supports it.

Currently on XP
If there's a Linux program that does this I'll convert at least so far as to set up one machine for this purpose.

Any suggestions?
