Dutch ISP kicks spammer's ass in court

My ISP (XS4ALL) has succesfully sued a major Dutch spammer on the basis that he was using their bandwidth, and that they could decide what to do with it themselves, and that freedom of speech of the spammer was not in order since it was a sales talk rather than an opinion and was using their private property.

They already blocked most spam, but since they won I have not received a single spam mail anymore

Now when will the first US based ISP do the same?

Good..glad to hear it..now if we can only stop the spam seminars that encourage this spamming among the get rich quick crowd..you know..the similar morons that show up at realestate get rich quick seminars and end up bying a bunch if usless books and tapes...

Just send spam about a suicide pill to every single person on earth, and call it the 'Get Rich Quick!!!' pill, that should get rid of most of them
