That's what I've always heard, that it is best to not use any solvents to clean the screen. I'm not sure about the newer LCDs and what kinds of coatings they have.

Swiffer duster for the dust build up, soft cotton rag (or old t-shirt) moistened with a little bit of water for the fingerprints. You want just enough water to wet the screen a little and break up the oil from the fingerprints.
