Hi,

There are much dust in my case.

My case is the Carbide 300r.

What is the best way to clean the inside of my Carbide 300r ?

I don't understand how to remove the front filter.

Do you have user guide ?

Thank-you !

Use a brush, the ones used for wall painting, preferably 1" to 2" wide and have synthetic bristles. Optional tool is using a garden sprayer(the ones that require pumping before use), because I'm too cheap for canned air. You also can run a vacuum tube near the case but nowhere inside the case to suck airborne dust particles. The cheapest, simplest and most effective would just be a brush. Its what I used most often.

To remove the front filter, you will need to remove the front panel first. Put your fingers through the gap at the bottom of the front panel and give it a tug. Lift it gently with small increments in force. Don't pull it forcefully like it owes you money. ;)

The filter on the front is not removable, but you can remove the whole front panel. See here: http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1884/4/. However I'd just vacuum clean it through the front grille without removing the front panel.

To clean the inside, use a can of compressed air. If it's very dusty, consider taking the PC outside so you don't blow all the particles into the house (not in the sun, and not if it's raining or high humidity). Usually though, I just have a vacuum cleaner on one hand and try to catch all the dust spreading out as I use blow air from the can onto the components.

why don't you want to vacuum the inside of the computer case?
More of a precautionary step. Won't do much harm if you did do it(don't blame me if anything goes wrong :ninja:). My reason is because vacuum sucks dust that is airborne or partially airborne(that's where the included brush extensions come in handy). Dust that accumulates over time in computer cases tend to cake up and harden to a point where some physical intervention is necessary. Paint brush + vacuum works best but I find myself using the brush alone 99% of the time because its easier.

I actually just cleaned out my 300r a few days ago. Used a small soft paint brush and a can of condensed air. It worked real well and I was done pretty quickly. You should also check your fan airflow because my filters had most of my dust. So if your really getting a ton of dust all over the place maybe your fan setup is off.

Im using for cleaning computor air compressor.
Its a good idea but can also be a bad one if it isn't maintained properly. The bad is that compressor air can have some water in it, accumulation of air humidity. If a compressor tank isn't purged periodically or have a filter, the air you're spraying isn't completely dry for electrical devices.
