Dust and coolers

My brother always complained how his comp is slow and how is fried itself. When i took it apart the other day i found that there was no fans minus the psu and the cpu stock fan. I also found enough dust in the hsf to kill a horse. Now i know that this caused the comp to fry itself i just wanted confermation.
