Duron vs Celeron overclocking

I had posted earlier regarding buying a system ...when i started considering Celeron / p3 550e coppermine someone told me about Durons ( as cash is a major consideration for me )...
are the Durons good overclockers ???? i have no clue

Duron is a great overclocker. They're also cheaper than the PIII and in most cases the Celeron as well. Clock for clock the Duron is faster than the Celeron and able to overclock just as well.

Durons are great overclockers, but performance wise clock for clock PIII Coppermine (not Celerymine) is a better performer. But Durons are cheaper to begin with and even though motherboards for them are expensive, price/performance wise Durons are hard to beat.

merle451 honestly, how much usable meat do you think you would have after a .50cal has gone through the deer? A 900grain piece o lead going 2900fps packs quite a punch. Use a .50cal to take out light apc's use a .270 or even a 25-06 for deer. Hell using a .50cal for deer is like using a Peterbuilt semi for towing a jetski. Just my 2cents...
