Duron "Turtle" 800 -- Help

Hi, I´ve a Duron800 and i´ve some problems with films, and gameplay. They are too slow. I´ve a Duron800, GeForce2 MX, Msi K7pro2-A board and 128 mb ram, i think it´s a optimal set of hardware, but the films just keep jumping and a game like Fallout Tactics or Severence, are allways reading from the disk and keep slow. Want can I do.
 
I just built that same system for a friend minus the mobo, I used a A7V133 with sound and I think the on board sound was killing me. I had smoother gameplay outta my old 366a @ 550 with my TNT2 card (which by the way I still have 🙁, need to break down and buy a new one). And man I didn't realize how blurry the geforce's get with the higher level reference drivers from nvidia til I changed from the driver that came with it (I changed back). I also was wondering whether more memory would of made a difference. But I am pretty sure that the onboard sound was really hurting the performance though.
