Duron/Tbird

old topic, but i want some opinions b4 i get 1 for 760 chpset(when avalible)

we'll take the diffrencee between a 700 tbird and 700 duron

we'll just assume for this that all durons will reach 950 and all tbirds will hit 800.

which is faster, and which would yall prefer? (and why LoL! eeven if it's as simple as the $30 price diffrence, or the names LoL! HAHAHAHAHA)

I'd say that it's pretty close.. Not quite sure, but I say that a Duron at 950MHz is about the same as a T-Bird at 800MHz. I'd say that.. The Duron would be faster after overclocking.

I don't think you would notice much differance between the two so the cheaper Duron would be a good choice IMO.

price difference is pretty small. plus i'm sure you could get above 800 witht eh tbird. i'd go with the tbird.

The T-Bird is a lot more overclockable than that I hope you know.

hey, either chp smudges anything InsMel has, so get the t-bird, I have an 800@ 1GHz, it rocks...and beats a 1000.00 P4!
