Gonna buy a new system in a few days.

Which boards out there are able to set the voltage down to 1.2V/1.4V (A4 spec
Still having a hard time deciding between A7V133/KK266R. Comments are welcome.

Since the future AMDs are most likely going to be Socket A based, then I would want a board that would "possibly" support the new A4. Also if you look at the roadmap, if the current mobos don't support new CPUs, then you're looking to buy a new modo and CPU about every 6-9 months! That's BS!

As far as OCing a Duron, which is better to get? 600@1000; 700@1000, 900@>1000?
Anyone successfully OC 900 Duron past 1100?

Benefits of Athlon over OC'd Duron?

I have an A7V133 and KK266. Both are really nice boards (the Iwill has better memory tweaks at the moment). Both have 1.4v Vcore support, and both are very stable. I like the A7V133 more than the KK266R because I like the Promise RAID controller better than the AMI.

For Durons, their OC limit is around 1GHz. I've seen people OC everything from their old 600 to the newer 800 Durons up to 1GHz, so its the luck of the draw (but a higher clocked one will give you an advantage).

Athlons will give you from 5%-20% better performance than a Duron, depending on the APP.
