Just as it appears by title: Pencil trick allows me to raise the clock on my Duron 900 from the default 9, to 9.5, 10, 10.5 (no windows at 10.5, though)...

but I cannot pick a lower clock rate (such as 8 or 7). No POST...nothing.

Any reason that any of you can think of?

thanks...

There is a bug in the K7T Turbo BIOS. Get the beta overclocker's BIOS ffom MSI's Taiwan site (when it comes back up).

^

has anybody else run into this???

i've considered maybe it is because i didn't pencil the L6 bridges to
ID the chip as having a 5 or 7 multiplier...but shouldn't i be able
to set the multiplier as anything if i've penciled the L1 bridges?

thanks again...
