tom3: this wasn't an insult to taiwanese ppl... just look at any/all the mobo websites they have that butchered english feel... i'm sure their native taiwanese(mandarin?) sites are perfect..

<<so they removed the 6 dipswitch block because now the multiplier is controlled in the bios, makes sense...the A7V manual doesn't have any mention of that yet, of course they could update the PDF or leave it as a "undocumented" setting.>>

Better have a look at that PDF.

Madrat:

The owner of the Business you mentioned. You said that his Duron reached 950. How did the T-bird get on? Cause thats what i really want to know about?

I didn't ask about max voltage and he didn't say he tried one of the Thunderbirds. He only got two of them in and probably didn't want to screw the higher priced cpu up by tweaking it.

Where was this? I live in council Bluffs, IA. Is it DIT? I can verify this story as Bellevue is right across the river.

I have a feeling that people are jumping all over Asus for no reason. Solotek is also supposed to sport an overclockers board. You can be rest assured that Abit, Shuttle, and the others will all jump on the bandwagon, too.

All I want is the guaranteed, in the stores, REVIEW of a final production board that I can get on the computer, and be assured in
3-5 days will yield me my O/C dreammachine!! I will have a $200 950 Mhz computer, I WILL!!!!!
