I have put 2 Pc's together for friends looking for cheap solutions with the ability to upgrade later. The mother boards are Gigabyte boards with out the option to rase CPU voltage or adjust multipliers. I would like to get a little bit more out of these setups. While I can adjust the FSB I would like to run FSB at 133 which requires extra voltage and reduced multipliers.
As i understand it L3 and L4 can be strapped or straps cut to adjust the multiplier and L5 can be used to adjust voltage settings. Can some one point me to a link giving the nessaecary info in plain english. The only article i have found so far was way too technical and I got some what lost.
Bottom line is I dont need to know how it works exactly, just what straps need to be connected for what.
I suppose another option is a BIOS hack?
