SONY FX210:

800MHz, 128MB RAM, 10GB hard drive, 8X Max DVD-ROM, 56Kbps modem, 10/100 Ethernet, 14.1" active-matrix display, 8MB ATI Rage, 1.44MB FD.

Price: $1546 (it is like buying a FX170 w/ 1000 rebate)

How does Duron compare to PIII mobil of same speed rating?

If its a laptop I would be more worried about battery life.
Don't Durons run hotter????

More heat = more power consumption =
Less battery life

Palomino, and Morgan, identical core except for cache and possibly if it uses copper.

the heat and power savings achieved compared to todays duron and T-bird are definetly GOOD.

I think someone from AMD specified a 3 hour battery lifetime on todays Power Notebooks when running a Palomino 1ghz.

so the slower, obviously the cooler and less power draw.
