I have an Abit Kt7, Duron 600, windows 95 OS2, Maxtor 40gm 7200, asus 50, ess sound card and Lucent modem, tnt2 vanta .I can use netscape 4.73, or any netscape, stable. I can use IE 4.0 ,stable. When I installed IE 5 and up, constant crashes while on the internet.I went 3 different websites once before it crashed, that is the furtherest I have gotton with IE 5 and up.Sometimes I can just close up IE 5.0 and click on netscape and use it. Other times I have to close up, and at times I have to reboot.
I have installed IE from hard drive, cd and from the internet. Netscape 4.73 is completely stable and so is IE 4.0. So right now I am strictly using netscape 4.73.WHY??
I am on the verge of reformatting, even though only one thing doesn't work.Is it possible that it's the new detonnator drivers?
