I'm ready to build a Duron system and have looked at the hsf possibilities. I would like the noise level to be low so I have selected the Taisol CGK742. Anybody have any problems with that? Will it be ok for a little oc'ing?

Thanks

No problem at all, except that it may well be a lot more cooler than you need. Lots of people are getting excellent results with the 733092 taisol and durons.

I recently ordered a motherboard bundle from Mwave.com, board, cpu and memory. The description included a "generic" HSF, which turned out to be an AVC Mega-Cool, very similar to the 733092 that I obtained from taisol. AMD approved, probably could have saved a few bucks...

Ditto on the Taisol 733... It is rated up to 1.1ghz for an Athlon (more heat than a duron...)

Best deal for the money.
