Duron bridges

My friend got a retail Duron 850, ECS K7S5A mobo, SX1030 case (using an Enhance 300W PSU, so no, technically it isnt a "real" antec 1030). Anyway, I swapped the retail HSF on the Duron for a retail HSF I had laying around from a 1.2 GHzT-bird. Temps are 42C under load. Its an ANCA stepping, I forget the week. Anyway, I know that the OCing potential for this isnt too high (due to HSF and lack of adjustments on the mobo). I would like to get this up to 1 GHz, though. The average on overclockers.com was 1035MHz, so I figure I have a shot at 1GHz. I once saw a website with the L bridge codes to set the voltage and multiplier. I want to get up to 1 GHz, but I dont want to deal with cutting any bridges (I know that is really hard to do). I looked and couldnt find the article anymore. Does anyone have a link, or can tell me how to raise the voltage to at least 1.75V? It wouldnt POST at 8.5*133 at 1.60V (which is the only OCing that we can do without using more pencil lead). Anyway, I have patience and plenty of AS II. Thanks in advance

Luckily the 850 is a good default speed to have, as you'll see.

Also to change your voltage, use the L7 bridges. They should look like this | : | : | . for 1.60 volts.
If you draw the other two in, you'll get 1.85V.

I have an ANCA 750 that i got to 933MHz. I didn't try too hard to get it higher because it's a spare processor. I recall getiing into windows at 7.5*133.

Thanks, ObiDon. One question... the article lacked all the voltage adjustments. I am going to try 1.75V first if possible, b/c like I said, I've got a retail HSF on there.

EDIT: Nevermind. Found the voltage adjustments. Looks like I will be going for 1.80V
