Duron at 850 1.725 volts -- Where Do I Go From Here?

Got my Duron 600 pretty stable at 850 and 1.725 volts. Using Retail HSF
CPU temp was about 35C at 600, now is 44C at 850. Case is about 29C.

Tried 900 and 1.8 volts....boots but not all the way into Windows...or won't stay.

What suggestions do you have for going higher?

Better cooling basically, or upping the voltage alternatively.

btw, how did you unlock it?
if with a pencil, try erasing and marking it over again with a LOT of graphite

Thanks...yeah did use pencil......I think the graphite is fine....it will boot at 900, but locks in Windows.....

Anything else?

Maybe better HS might help. Try burning your CPU's for a week then try it higher.

see www.tomshardware.com bump that cheap chip up to 2.0 volts and see what it can do!
