My duron 1.6G can not show POST screen at 166*12, can not enter windows at 133*13.5.
Some friends also like me. But some succeed.

Seriously, if you live in the US the $5 difference between the new Durons and an XP 1700/1800 isn't worth the potential performance loss. The Duron was reintroduced mainly for third world countries where a $5 price difference is major.

Well, the 2000+ does run at 1.67GHz as opposed to the Applebred being oced to 2.3GHz....

MonkeyDriveExpress has hit the nail on the head.

Wow... I was right? Anyway, a 1700 or 1800 TbredB has the potential of hitting that speed too, so I'd ignore the Duron for now. The overclocking isn't really that impressive, seeing that the chips are neutered\castrated Tbred B's those numbers ought to be expected.,

yeah... if these things were hitting like 2.6 or 2.7 ghz then i say maybe it'd be worth it.... but i say hands down the best value right now has to be the 1700/1800+ or the 2500+ barton....
