Duron and CAS2 Memory?

I've heard that the Duron and TBird need CAS2 memory. I'm not even sure what CAS2 or CAS3 is.

I've got a Celeron 400 with 128meg chip (8 chips on each side). How would I know if my memory was CAS2 or CAS3? I was wanting to upgrade to a Duron in the next few weeks but wanted to know if I would need to purchase additional memory as well (I know memory is cheap now, don't want to spend any more than I have to).

The markings on the memory are:

On each chip:
KINGMAX
KSV884T4A1A
-08A

On the PCB:
PE-128MDRMS2

On a sticker:
MPCA83S-882
P9C0132KX
PC-100

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don`t need CAS2 memory ,CAS3 memory works fine, of course some Generic memory does give problems on some boards that is why it`s best to go with quality ram like Crucial etc,since all CAS2 does is give you a slightly faster system due to it being faster memory then CAS3.

What you have is able to run at:

CAS2 PC100
or
CAS3 125MHz.
