I've just now connected the 4 L1 Pins on my Duron 800 via a pencil, just like my friend did, who btw oced his Duron 800 easily to 950MHz with a core-multipliler of 9,5 , but unlike his success my bios (during the boot-process) and a Quake 3 Benchmark shows, that with a mult. of 9,5 , the Duron is running at 550MHz !?! What could be wrong? My friend (who succeded) is as clueless as I am. We're pretty sure that we have not short-circuted the pins!
My computer consists of :
Duron 800, Made in Malaysia (WTF, I'm living in Germany and I can't get a copper-duron from the Fab20 in Dresden??? I've also Paid 140$ for my Duron 800... Not to mention the 220$ I'd have had to pay for a TBird 800...
MSI K7T Pro2
256 MB PC-133 RAM
GeForce 2
Thanks guys,
Smoof
