I've looked at the EPOX EP-8KTA2, but I don't like the idea of onboard sound that I will just disable
I don't need RAID but I do need ATA 100
More than 2 USB's would be nice
The ASUS A7V is but pricy but.....
I would like to overclock from 1 - 1.1 Gig 😛
 
what's the big plus with ata-100? I may be wrong, but i heard that it is not much different than udma-66. i have been looking at the epox without the ata 100, anybody else have thoughts?
 
guess if you already have it, no reason not to go for ata 100. but has anybody got info on the 66 vs 100 issue?
 
I've heard that at 7200RPM, the ATA-66 spec is not even fully utilized.

That being said, who cares about ATA-100 until they mass produce 10000rpm+ IDE harddrives
