I just bought this Duron and a K7T Pro2A
what would be the BEST cooler to use for o/c'ing this baby?
beside watercooling that is

The Fop38 is VERY high pitched and sounds like a blowdrier. I would suggest the Taisol CGK742092. I have my Duron 600@1050 @1.85 and is @49C under full load and about 42C under idling. (This is without much thermal grease, so I think I may get lower when I get some Arctic silver from a friend.) The default is a 21 CFM fan, but you can get a fan that pushes more, or get a 80mm fan adapter, and put a big 80mm fan with a decent CFM, but something that won't kill your ears.

I like the GW Fop38 too but I'm using the 32-1 cuz it was cheap when I assembled.

I've got a duron 650 @ 950, but I'll go 1050 with reasonable temps.

Alpha PAL6035 with Sunon 26cfm 60mm fan. GlobalWins are good too. The 32-1 and the 38 are the same sinks, just different fans. If you compare cooling from GW and Alpha sink, using same fan, the Alpha will cool better. You can always change the fan on the Alpha anyways. You might wanna go with a Hedgehog.

Why not go look at Anandtech's recent SocketA Cooler Roundup?
