Duron 600...what to do?

I have an old duron 600 and an Abit KT7-Raid kickin' around and I was thinking of putting it to use. I was reading somewhere that it was possible to unlock the cache on newer durons (those running at 133Mhz), and I was wondering if anyone heard of any such things with the 100Mhz Durons (the Spitfire core type).

This chip is unlocked and can take a real nice OC, too. And I am not particularily emotionally attached to either of the components (the board or the processor - though, for the day, the KT7 was THE board to have). I think I might just push the living crap out of the processor until it craps out - just for fun. And I found a volt-mod that I can perform to the KT7 that will give you the ability to go upto 2.35V on the VCORE.

This setup is just a little to slow for gaming, and a little too new to give away - and it just sits there doing nothing. So my question is, really, what would you do with these components?

Added poll for fun!

Heck yeah! BTW, I know someone who is still running his 600@1ghz on 2v+ and he bought it a couple months after it was available. That CPU won't die!

awesome :)
the first Durons were quite good actually (compared to Athlons)
I had a 900Mhz Athlon, and a 800Mhz Duron.. they benchmarked pretty close.

I voted give it to the girlfriend. All girlfriends for some reason have HP's, which of course are a blight that should be destroyed at all costs. In my long history of troubleshooting other people's computers I too often have to tell people that their HP not only sucks beyond measure, but when it breaks (and it will) it cannot be fixed by anyone other than HP and all the extra parts I have laying around wont do them a bit of good.

Also, overclock the hell out of it before she gets it and make it do some folding when she's not looking ;)

Yeah, she's not the least bit computer savvy. Her HP is a PII 450 with 192MB of RAM...it really blows. I can't even reuse the case or motherboard - since the motherboard is "L-shaped". It has one board that contains all of the RAM and the processor (so on), then it has a daughter board that contains all of the PCI slots...so all expansion cards are parallel to the motherboard, and the case is built as such, with the cards horizontaly mounted in a desktop case. Nice of HP to 'invent' their own form factor....

A little history: I originally purchased the Duron 600 and the KT7 from a second hand junk store for $100 CDN....both work great, but the processor looks REAL beat up - which really didn't matter to me - it was my intention to purchase a 1.33Ghz T-Bird for the board (which I did...then my dumb friends decided to test it in another board WITHOUT a heatsink mounted...obviously, I wasn't around at the time). So, now I have them both around again in a closet doing nothing - and it's tims to have some fun.

Edit: grammar.
