How far have people been able to take their Duron 600's (AKBA stepping) with thermalright SK6 w/delta fan + ASII ?
 
Many people on overclockers.com have gotten that chip past 1 GHz using older coolers such as the FOP-38. I wouldn't be surprised if you break 1 GHz with that combo.
 
Maybe u can try less aggresive RAM timing. There is no guarantee in O/Cing thou. But another 50% more from 600...I wouldn't complain. 😉
 
It is possible that the core was damaged.
When i cleaned with alcohol, I noticed a few scuff marks on it, but didn't think it would affect much.

Anyone experienced scuff marks?
