I have the YS Tech fan on my Pal. I found it to loud, so I put on some old cheep Sunon 60mm fan I pulled out of a old laser printer. It doesn`t give out much CFM, but it`s quiet. After about 30min of unreal trounament the temp goes up to 49C I know this is highly inaccurate because I played with the sensor and my temp went lower.

What I`m woundering is if the temp matters as long as the system is stable? My computer was just as stable with the Sunon fan as it was with the YS Tech, but the temp is 8C hotter. Any ideas?

I put the retail duron fan on the PAL6035 and my temps. are something like 40-41 for 600@1050
I am using it over 3 months now.

hey guys i got a 650@1050 1.8V and it is at 41 idle and 48 while running cpu stability test. Using a FOP32-1 with a Startech fan since it is quieter and suppose pumps 26CFM (right now fan 5200rpm). Are those temperatures normal for a duron 650@1050?

i find it odd that people have idle temps of x and max loads of x+5 up ... mine is like idle x and max load x+18C ...

i think that if the system is stable it should be fine as long as it isn't over a redicules temp like 70C.

Although, lower temps do increase cpu life, NO?
