Duron 600@950 & Temp

I've got my 600 boosted to 950 VCore at 1.7 and it's running rock solid. I left the case open and I've got a small desktop fan pushing air directly onto the CPU. Under load, it sits at 44°C with that setup. Without the fan on, it rises to around 50. I'll be upgrading the HSF in the near future. Just wanted to ask what kind of temps everyone else is running so I don't fry this bad boy.

That's pretty good. I have Duron 700@1000 w/ voltage at 1.8. It runs at about 52 C under load. What kind of fan do you have? You must have a pretty good one.

Check my site for temps at different speeds. Duron Chart

Are you running yours with a closed case? I just cranked mine up to 1000 and 1.8 and it's up 4 degrees across the board. My Sandra CPU mark falls just a hair under yours at 2803/1388. FYI, the fan I've got isn't a computer fan. Just your run of the mill 10" fan you can buy at Wal-Mart used for keeping your room cool. Loud as all get out but serves its purpose.

Sounds alright as long your system is rock solid. What HSF are you using right now? Check my sig for my HSF. Max with closed case never above 45C. 1x80mm ADDA fan intake, 2x60mm ADDA fans exhaust.

Hah, I'm using just the stock HSF right now which is why I'm taking the extra precaution and Frankensteining my comp until I can get a good combo. Was thinking of getting the PAL6035 or the FOP38 when it becomes available.
