Duron 600 @ 650, @700 wont post....core voltage?

well this is sorta a dum question, but i dont wanna up my voltage if i dont have to.....

my Duron 600 went to 650 perfectly (connecting the bridges with a pencil actually worked!!!!), but when i tried to take it to 700 it wouldnt post.

do i have to up the voltage .5V ????

you mean .05 volts but yeah. Certainly won't do any harm to your proc.

Look at my sig and I've had that for a month now.

I've seen them over a gig on some sites.

Don't know how high people have got with a HSF, I think most of those sites are using peltiers

HSF - heat sink & fan combination, what everyone uses.

Peltier - an electrical device that cools very efficiently to subzero temps.

cool.....well i took it to 700, but i had to up the vcore to 1.6!!!! thats not too high for that frequency is it?

Must be nice!

I just got my Duron to 650 with a 1.75v w/generic heatsink/fan. I tried increasing voltage and multiplier, but with a multiplier of 7.0, my monitor (Optiquest v75) sits there with a 'No Signal' while my computer sits there. Can I possibly post any higher, or must I wait for my Alpha cooler to come in?
