After much tweaking I was able to get my Duron 600 and A7V to start up Windows98 at 1GHz (10 X 100) with 1.85V. It ran OK for a while but was a bit unstable so I tried 997MHz (105 X 950) and it seemed to stabilize but still would lock up occasionally. I then dropped back to 978MHz (103 X 9.5) and all seems well. Ran the weekend with no lockups... woohoo! Oh... was also able to drop voltage to 1.80V. Running between 50 and 54 deg. C according to Asus probe software.

Congrats, that's an excellent overclock...
I personally like my temps a little lower, but that's just me :)

What are you using as a heatsink/fan? What are you using as thermal grease? I was using a Chrome Orb at 33c idle and 37c stressed at 997Mhz. I just bought a Globalwin FOP32-1 but broke the probe when trying to move it closer to the die during the Heatsink/Fan replacement. Just ordered replacement P2T cable (Thermal Probe) from Treasure Chest Computer (www.tccomputer.com). I recommend if you're going to change coolers and have put the probe on the cooler instead to order a couple. Just in case. For $2.99 who can go wrong.
