I have been running my 600 Duron at 1.8v at 950 stable but just for the heck of it I changed the multiplier to 10 and raised the voltage to 1.89 and it seems stable. Currently I am running Prime as I am writting this. Im just suprised the CPU would boot up let alone let me write about this thing.

I bought the CPU a month ago at buycomp and Im pleased with its performance.

The temperature is at 55c at full load running prime. Also, I am using a modified Golden Orb with a faster 5500 fan. I like the G Orb over the Chrome Orb because it mates tighter to the surface of the CPU and if excercised correctly the fit is tight but not damaging. Also, the artic silver seems helpful.

I know this is not great new but for someone who has been overclocking for a while this is finally the first time I had the opportunity to have a PIMP chip.

Not gloating just enjoying.

Paulson the RC5 Pimp. :)

But it's true that running RC5 will test if your cpu is stable.

Try running it for a while, at least until Anandtech is number 1 . ;)

I have a bunch of parts on the way, among which are a Duron 600 and an Abit KT7 RAID. I can't wait to overclock that puppy - I got my friend's up to 900MHz w/o a hitch. And once all my parts get here and I install them, I'll be tending a small farm of three machines. Should I go for RC5 or Seti on Team Anandtech?

For me I'm gloating and enjoying.
My temps run at around 46C (under full load (SETI baby YEAH))
and I can get my duron600 up to 1081@1.85 and 1102 but it's not all that stable.. No Arctic silver... and sure as heck no ORB. Modified Alpha all the way... :)

True, True... You can't beat a great chip :)

And brennan_, Give Seti a shot with that beast, see if you can beat my best time 3:24:39 :)

I got my duron at 1008 (9*112) @ 1.675V On my KT7. Boy it flies. I just have a cheapo HS too. Do you guys think with a better HS and fan, and if I up the voltage a bit, I'll reach 1100MHz? I'm currecntly at 41 degrees C. Seems most of you guys have higher temps than me. Is it 'cause I upped the FSB more than the multiplier? It's been running stable now for about a week, and I think tonite I'll try for 1.1Ghz. Not bad for a $45 CPU
