I have a Abit kt7 raid not the "A" version. I have a factory locked 600mhz duron that I unlocked with a mechanical pencil. If I set the bios to 10 x 100 and the voltage to 1.85 I can boot and run windows and everything really stable and I am only using the retail heatsink and fan. But if I set the mulitplier to 8.5 and the fsb to 101 I cant even boot, but if I set the fsb to 100 I can run everything fine. Whats the deal with my setup? Btw I am using infineon (SP)? 133 ram that rates @150 and I am not using a AMD approved PS. (Its generic) This wouldnt be a cooling problem would it? Because I can get to 1 ghz fine. Oh and btw I am using the latest bios revision.
