Hi,

I am putting another PC together. I flashed the ECS K7VZA to the newest bios, 3.6a. It has a KT133a chipset. I'm wondering if the Duron 1300 MHz (morgan duron) will work on the K7VZA? ECS's website states Morgan Durons are supported, but doesnt give any speeds.....Please help ASAP!!!

it should work no problem according to ecs and this page it has support for the morgan core and with that it should have no probs... the majority of the time the manufacturers (even ecs) the multipliers in their latest bios... (their site claim support on that that same page for Thoroughbred as well... athlon xp .13...)
also as a nice side note your motherboard with the latest bios also supports harddrives larger than 128GB (or 137 fake GB) without an add-on card (if it matters... just noticed it tho)

Edit: just noticed that your computer has a 1.2GHz Athlon in it right now... a 1.3GHz duron would be a downgrade from your current state... just thought i would let you know that...
