I got this price from The Over Clockerz Store.
Why is this processor so cheap? Even the locked ones cost more. What's going on am I missing something. I couldn't get hold of them. If you can't get hold of them I don't know how I can trust them.

Does anyone know where I can go to get help on o/c Duron 600 or 700 to 950 or more using Abit KT7. I seen some but none are really complete.

Thanks

jyp

because a duron 600 is like 50 bux..

if ocz's yeilds are good enough that a good percentage of their chips are doing 1ghz then they are making 15 bux per chip.

i've ordered from ocz without problems

why would u argue with lower prices is my question?

"aww these prices are too damn low.. f--- this."

^ doesnt make sense :D

Have you actually ordered something from them and gotten burned, I have. Explain to me how that post is anything other than ocz buying abracadabra's testimonial with a 5% discount. If they have truly changed, why don't they go back through their logs and give discounts to all of their early customers who were ripped off.

If they actually ship you a working cpu, at almost any speed, you can't really complain. The price is so low thats its not worth the acid indegestion and the price of a pack of Tums to even complain. Maybe it only does 850-900in your mobo, your still a winner.

Well if I got burnt by them I would spread sh!t too. Can't blame the guy. And from the several bad testimonials I have had about that store, I'm not going to buy anything from them, and will urge others do the same.

If OCZ screws just a few people over, then why take the chance of becoming the next?

If anyone gets this chip can you let us know your experiences? I almost bought from these guys but I heard about a lot of bad things and bad experiences(not only on this forum) so I'm very wary now. The price on this cpu looks good, but only if it works. I don't want a hassle or a bad chip.

hey jdaves, what do they send you? Just the bare chip or do you get a heatsink and fan? Are these chips just unlocked and tested or have they actually changed the speed? How quick did you get your chip replaced?

I bought a 600 @ 950 for $49. I was surprised that they acutally shipped the chip in 1 day . However that was last week and because it was thanksgiving it took a while to come. The packaging was good and they also sent me the right things :).
BUT.... The chip isn`t stable @ 950.. I have a alphla 6035 and a BLACK LABEL fan... There's no reason why it's not stable. But I`m content with 900mhz because $49 is a good even deal for and plain old 600 (i know all 600's are good o/c'ers).

They tried to burn me ocz i got my credit card people after them. I would not do any deals with them if they were the only people on line that sold stuff......... They lie and cheat.......... and i dont care how cheap the cpus are.
