Duron 1.6ghz? Do motherboards need a bios update?

Do these processors drop right in let's say, Asus A7N266 VM(Nfoce 1) without having to flash the bios to recognize and update support for them? Or are they supported as basic Athlons?

That mb should support all 200 and 266 fsb processors(i.e. durons,t-birds, xp's ect.)
