Hi all,
I've got a QDI Kinetiz 7B (latest BIOS) that used to have a Duron/700 in it, until I recently added a Duron/1300. When running Sandra2003, it reports that the VCore is at 1.81v when it should be between 1.3 - 1.5v. Having heard that this can reduce the life of your processor, I'm duly worried.
I've checked the BIOS and can't find any settings for VCore, I don't think it's possible to change it as the CPUs are auto-detected, and I know that this CPU is supported (according to manuf. website).
Can anyone put my mind at ease or tell me how to get the voltage setting down a bit?
Thanks!
Phil
