well, I am only 18 years old right now,,, turning 19 in november

people say at 18, you're an adult but i still feel like I got a lot of growing up to do.

I really wonder how different I will be 3 years from now... compared to today

18 = vote and can be drafed
21 = alcohol!
25 = lower insurance

Edit: You hit 20 and releaize you're half-way to 40. That sucks.

You might experience hair growth in your pubic area, and your voice may crack.

I'm assuming you're like most of the kids here and are ~10 years behind their developmental cycle.

Go to clubs, learn to like at least some form of alcohol, and learn to dance.

The girls will change your life. ;)

Uhh... what do you think will happen? I just turned 22 in May; no big bang or anything went off. Life goes on. Age isn't the best thing to gauge your life by... I don't get why people look at being 50 horrible, but someday when I cross that path maybe I'll see...

Any day now you'll start feeling "funny down there" when you see girls with no clothes on. Or guys, if you're like pyonir.

Believe it or not, the first person that came to mind was "shrinertech."

Then I realized pyonir was a much better candidate.

I'm... touched? heh
I'm sure in the years I've been here, I even keep the mods guessing as to whether I want to be "out" or not. Oh well.

Just enjoy, because at 22, life goes downhill pretty quickly.

I wouldn't say that. I'm 23, a full year out of college (B.S. in Computer Engineering), got a nice full time job at a company that hired a bunch of recent college graduates so there are plenty of people my age around, making good money and having a blast!

I can actually afford to treat myself to a few toys now and then, go out and not worry about blowing money on some drinks when I'm out with friends, bought a nice car, and I go to work for 40 hours a week and the rest of the week is mine! No homework, no tests to study for, etc.

Compared to college where I studied and worked my butt off and had about a $20/week budget so when friends went out, I often stayed in, drove an old clunker for a car... I had lot of fun in college but liking the post-college life a lot also at the moment :)
