Anyone own this item? I'm curious how good it is before ordering. I have 20 month old twins and the dual screens would be perfect!

I bought this a few months ago. I am very happy with it indeed. Haven't had a problem with any of our discs (some of which are dvd-r). We have had 3 or 4 road trips. The base unit gets hot, but nothing to worry about. Each piece has its own remote censor, which is pretty nice. Also each screen has a headphone jack, speakers, and volume control.

One thing that is really cool (although We haven't done it and probably never will) These things have a video-in so you can play a console game on one screen. And the other screen can be watching a dvd. Or you can play the game on both screens if you want to as well.

The big downside is, no battery. But if you can live with that, it's a steal
