I go through a pair of ear buds every 3-4 months. When I had the iphone, apple would replace them free of charge (although still a hassle). Tmobile and Samsung are not so generous.
i do wear them for several hours M-F, usually while the phone is in my front pocket.
They tend to break just above the input jack.
I tried a pair of etomotics that have a bend just above the jack, but they've also given up the ghost after ~6 months - with the rubber casing splitting in several places.
Any ideas?
I don't mind spending a few hundred for a good sounding pair that will last.
