my mind was drifting at work and it brought me back to something i tried to forget :)

It was back when i was a junior in high school I won a $5000 scholarship for college from Philips.
It was all good, got my picture in the paper and stuff and then 880 AM in NY a news station did an interview with me.

first it sucked cause the interview was at 6am so i was all sleepy during it, but what i didnt know what they were going to do was in the intro. I was a pretty social person in high school (parties, etc...)...but 880 didnt seem to care about this and they introduced me by saying...

"While most kids his age are out partying and spending time with girls, Mrdingledangle spends his time working at home studying and working in front of his computer" (not a direct quote forget what exactly they said i spend time doing, but it was something like that)

even though people knew it was untrue, i got a lot of sh*t for that in school...man that sucked

I have one for you dingledangle. I ran track for years, but when i was in Elementary school, i ran in the Hershey Track and Field competition(i dont even know if they still have it) Well anyways, i made it to the State meet because i qualified in the Regionals. Now while in the Regional meet, I was running the 200 yard dash and i was winning, and I just knew i was going to win. I felt invincible, i just knew i was going to make it to the state meet(along with the other best in the state with a chance to compete in the National meet). All of a sudden about 15 yards from the finish line, i felt a draft. I look down and my little 6th grade d!ck was hanging out.. Man i was so freakin embarrassed. What made things worse, i slowed down (still made 2nd place) to pull myself together, but there were many kids from my school in the stands and they all laughed at me. Teachers, parents, people in the community all saw my 6th grade privates. I was happy i made it to the state meet, but embarrased as hell at my pants being lose.

Can't say I've ever really been horribly embarrassed... I did have a video of the first time I ever got terribly terribly drunk posted on teh intarweb (way back, like 10 years ago... when teh intarweb was young and didn't see that sorta stuff every day) even then it wasn't horribly embarrassing, matter of fact didn't bother me too much, but could have been embarrassing... I dunno, I guess thats the worst I got.

Hell I'll embarrass myself now. Here y'all go, celebrating what should be the 10th anniversary of this video soon!

Me drunk back in summer 1994ish? High school... geez.

Hopefully the ATOT effect won't hammer too bad.... its my friend's site... ah well thats what he gets for hosting this stuff... ;)

Through high school I took college courses at night. My freshman year, I took French, and twice I did things to embarrass myself. First time, the teacher was asking people to say in French what they did just before class. I THOUGHT I said that I had just eaten (mange)...but what I actually said was that I had just shat (merde). She turned white and announced a break, shooing us all out of the room. She howled with laughter for a few minutes (during which time my friend let me know what I'd just said.) Ack.
Second time, we were in the middle of a mid-term when my stomach gurgled. I don't mean a little one, but a full-minute-long GURKKKLALALALALALALA that actually echoed off the walls of the room. Picture a fifteen year old girl surrounded by college students doing that. OMG.

You may not believe this but I don't think you should feel so embarrased about this. There's nothing wrong with your having privates and so what's so bad about other people seeing them. It wasn't your intention, it was an accident, one of those things. You should hold your head high. Yeah, you were panting, but hold your head high. BFD.

And the OP, that wasn't you, wasn't your fault, and you should be able to have a sense of humor about it and not be particularly embarrased. That's my take. As for me, I've been embarrased tons of times. In fact I once said: "life seems like an endless procession of embarrasing circumstances." It was about nothing in particular. Whoever I said it to was quite amused. I'm sure I've forgotten my most embarrasing moments but if I thought about it long enough I guess I could/would remember some. I'm drawing a blank. :)

My 13th birthday I was on a field trip of sorts with my high school orchestra. We stopped for lunch, then I spent a while in the middle of a merry go round. I was dizzy as hell when I got off, & wasn't feeling too good.

Back to the bus we go, I'm sitting like two rows from the front. Bus is fully loaded & I puke into my hands. The entire busload of students got to file by me on their way off the bus while I sat their with cupped hands full of my lunch.

In 8th grade I had bronchitis and was on some meds. They told me not to drink milk or eat dairy while I was on them, but I forgot. After lunch, I threw up on a kid in Algebra.

Eddie Ellis, if you're out there, sorry again!

Last week, I had to fart real bad in my cube at work. It was a bad one, and I noticed how much worse it stunk than usual. Not 15 seconds later, some lady I work with had to come into my cube to talk. There's no way she didn't notice it. I felt like that Southwest commercial - "Wanna get away?"

This happens to me all the time. It's like they have a 6th sense and know exactly when I drop one. They always act like they don't smell it though, then I hear them coughing as they leave, lol. Nobody bothers me too much anymore, hahaha.

I mixed up the egg and sperm when the teacher asked me a question in middle school once.

My crush at the time was in that class. Talk about pressure.

It's a toss up for me between:

A) Vomiting on a girl in my 7th grade english class, which caused her to vomit a few minutes later (chain reaction).

B) Taking a dump in front of about 100 people.

I know exactly what you mean. I can go 4 hours without seeing anyone in my cube, then as soon as I drop one, I'm real popular. (And then very unpopular again.)

Ummm...care to elaborate on why B occurred? I for one cannot fathom any explanation!
